Biography
Hensley earned his AS from Columbia State Community College. He went on to receive his BS from the University of Memphis. He then earned his MD from the University of Tennessee-Memphis College of Medicine. He is a physician and serves as the Lewis County Medical Examiner.

Hensley ran for re-election to the 70th District Seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the August 5 primary.[3] He defeated Democrat Calvin Moore in the general election on November 2, 2010.[4]
