John Campbell (b. July 19, 1955) is a Republican member of the U.S. House representing California's 48th congressional district. Campbell was first elected to the House in 2005.

Campbell is running for re-election in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing California's 45th District as a Republican. He was displaced from his current district, the 48th by redistricting.[1] Sukhee Kang is running as a Democrat. The open primary election will be held on June 5, 2012.

Biography

Campbell was born in Los Angeles, California. He earned a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1976 and his M.S. from the University of Southern California in 1977.[3]
