John Cloutier (b. November 15, 1957) is a Democratic member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Sullivan 10. He was first elected to the chamber in 1992.

Cloutier has served as chair, vice chair, and secretary of the Sullivan County Democrats; clerk of the House Public Works and Highways Committee; and chair of the Long Range Capitol Planning and Utilization Committee; volunteer for the Democratic Candidate Campaign; and secretary of Claremont-Unity Democrats.

Biography

Cloutier attended Midwest Academy and earned his B.S. in education from Keene State College. His professional experience includes working as a security officer with RCB Security, a substitute teacher with the Claremont/Cornish/Unity New Hampshire School Districts, assistance clerk, and bus driver.[1]

Cloutier won re-election in the 2012 election for New Hampshire House of Representatives, Sullivan 10. Cloutier was unopposed in the September 11 primary election and defeated incumbent Paul LaCasse (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]

On November 4, 2008, Cloutier finished third for the five-seat Sullivan 4 District of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, receiving 3,257 votes, behind Democrat Thomas Donovan (3,591) and Republican Philip Osgood (3,380) and ahead of Democrats Raymond Gagnon (3,196), Sandra Harris (3,185), Larry Converse (2,602), and Republicans Victor Bergeron (2,889), Chris Vinci (2,518), Ken Hall (2,427) and Ernest Bridge, Jr. (1,735), and Others(11).[4]
