Doll won election in the 2012 election for Kansas House of Representatives District 123. Although incumbent Reynaldo R. Mesa withdrew from the race, Doll technically defeated him in the August 7 Republican primary, as Mesa was not taken off the ballot. He was unopposed in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]
