John Girgenti has been a Democratic member of the New Jersey Senate since 1990. Bills that have been sponsored by Senator Girgenti include Senate Bill 8 and Senate Bill 151.[1]
Girgenti graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Seton Hall University and also graduated with an M.A. in Government and Public Administration from St. John's University.[2]
Girgenti is a full time legislator. In addition to being a senator, he was a Sergeant in the United States Army National Guard from 1970 to 1976. He was also the Deputy Majority Leader in the New Jersey General Assembly in 1990.[3]
