John Tippets is a Republican member of the Idaho State Senate, representing District 32 since 2012. He previously represented District 31 from February 2011 to 2012. He was appointed by Gov. Butch Otter in February 2011 to fill out the unexpired term of Robert Geddes.[1]

Tippets won election in the 2012 election for Idaho State Senate District 32. Tippets defeated R. Scott Workman in the Republican primary on May 15 and was unopposed in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4][5]
