John Martin (b. June 5, 1941) is a former Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 1 from 1964 to 1994 and from 2008 to 2012. Martin served in the Maine State Senate from 2000-2008. Martin ran in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 1.
Martin is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and Government at University of Maine at Fort Kent.
He is a member of the American Academy of Political Science, New England Political Science Association, President of Ambulance Services, Incorporated, and Treasurer of the Northern Maine General Hospital.[1]
