John Lesch (b. January 15, 1973) is a Democratic-Farmer Labor member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, representing District 66B since 2013 and currently serving as a State House Minority Whip. He previously represented District 66A from 2003 to 2013.

Lesch is an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Saint Paul. He has previously been a legislative intern for Representative Andy Dawkins and an aide to Saint Paul Councilman Chris Coleman.

Lesch earned his JD from the Hamline University School of Law and BA in Philosophy/Psychology from Saint Louis University. He is a member of American Federation of State, County and Municipal EmployeesLocal #3757, a Delegate for the Saint Paul Trades and Labor Assembly, and founding member of the South Como Block Club. He is divorced and has one child.[1]

Lesch won re-election in the 2012 election for Minnesota House of Representatives District 66B. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 14 and defeated Ben Blomgren (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]
