Mallozi served on each of the city of Stamford's three elective boards. In addition, he served on the city's 1995 Charter Review Commission.
Mallozi stated that he would focus on improving mass transit and fixing the state's tax structure. He further stated, "I'm not afraid to act up sometimes to save money...If it's necessary, I'll fight for it. I'm not tired, I'm not stale and I'm ready to move forward."
Mallozi emigrated to the United States in 1966 from Italy. He is married and has one child.
