Biography
Mizuno's professional experience includes working as an Office Manager/Legislative Aide for Representative Dennis A Arakaki from 2003-2006, Special Investigator for the State of Hawaii from 1998-2003, State Public Hearings Officer/Administrative Law Judge in California from 1992-1998, and a psychological educational therapist, law clerk, and academic programs coordinator.

Mizuno won re-election in the 2012 election for Hawaii House of Representatives District 28. Mizuno ran unopposed in the August 11 Democratic primary and defeated Carole Kauhiwai Kaapu (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]

Mizuno won re-election to the 30th District Seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition on September 18, 2010. The general election took place on November 2, 2010. Carole Kaapu ran on the Republican ticket for this seat.[4]
