John Reynard was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 134 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
Elections
2012
Reynard was selected to replace Patrick Slattery after he withdrew following his primary victory.[1] Reynard was defeated by Ryan Mackenzie in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]

Campaign themes
Reynard launched attacks at Mackenzie shortly after joining the race, stating: "What is the difference between me and Ryan? Ryan has done two things in his life -- gone to Harvard and worked in politics. He’s never owned a home, never paid property taxes, and as far as I know, he’s never had a girlfriend. He’s never loved anything other than money and his own self-advancement."[3]
On the issues, he stated that his top legislative priorities would be stopping the brain-drain, lowering the state sales tax, making legislative pay merit based.[3]
