John T. Kemper III (b. October 31, 1963) was a 2011 Republican candidate for Kentucky Auditor of Public Accounts. He is a partner in a residential building and development company and previously owned an education supply store.[1] He previously ran for US House of Representatives in 2010.

Kemper defeated Addia Kathryn Wuchner in the May 17 primary. He lost to Democrat Adam Edelen in the November 8 general election.[2]

Kempter unsuccessfully ran for the Republican nomination for U.S. Representative for the 6th District in 2010. He came in fourth with 7.07 percent of the vote.
