John Watkins is a Republican member of the Virginia Senate. He has been a Senator since 1998, representing the 10th district.
Watkins attended and received a B.S. in Horticulture at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Watkins served in the military from 1970-71 and in the House of Delegates from 1982-98.
In addition to serving as senator Watkins is a manager for Watkins Land, LLC.
