Johnny Hoyt was a candidate for District 15 of the Arkansas State Senate. He previously was a Democratic member of the Arkansas House of Representatives, representing the 60th District from 2007 to 2011.
Hoyt is a retired educator.[1]

Hoyt ran in the 2012 election for Arkansas Senate, District 15. Hoyt ran unopposed in the May 22 Democratic primary and was defeated by David J. Sanders (R) in the November 6, 2012, general election.[2][3][4]

2010
Hoyt was eligible but did not seek re-election to the Arkansas House of Representatives in 2010. He instead ran for election to District 18 of the Arkansas State Senate. He was defeated by Republican Jason Rapert in the November 2 general election.[5]

On November 4, 2008, Hoyt won re-election to the 60th District Seat in the Arkansas House of Representatives, running unopposed in the general election.[6]
