Johnny Nugent (b. July 18, 1939) is a Republican member of the Indiana State Senate, representing District 43. He was first elected to the chamber in 1978. He served on the Dearborn County Board of Commissioners from 1966 to 1974.

Biography

Nugent's professional experience includes owning Nugent Tractor Sales. He served in the United States Army in 1957.

Nugent won re-election to the 43rd District Seat in the Indiana State Senate with no opposition. He received 32,334 votes.

Nugent defeated primary challenger Lindsay Patterson by a margin of 11,737 to 4,104 in the May 4 Republican primary election.[1]
