The question on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Johnson St. Paris Fire District for the purpose of PROVIDING AND MAINTAINING FIRE APPARATUS, APPLIANCES, BUILDINGS OR SITES THEREFOR at a rate not exceeding 2.25 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.225 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.[3]
