Elections
2012
Hecht won re-election in the 2012 election for Massachusetts House of Representatives Twenty-Ninth Middlesex District. Hecht was unopposed in the September 6 Democratic primary and was unopposed in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]
Hecht ran in the special election for the 2nd Suffolk and Middlesex Senate District. He and two other candidates were defeated by representative William Brownsberger (D) in the December 13, 2011 primary election. Brownsberger faced no challenger in the January 10, 2012 special general election.[3]
2010
Hecht won re-election to the Twenty-ninth Middlesex Seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the September 14 primary. He also faced no opposition in the general election on November 2, 2010.[4]
