Jonathan Wright was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 4 of the Michigan House of Representatives.


Wright was born in Richmond, Virginia but his childhood summers and his college days were spent all the way between Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor and Detroit, MI..[1] He attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate degree and later earned his J.D. from Florida A&M. The certified youth minister served as an intern at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office before deciding to run for public office in 2012.[2]

Wright ran in the 2012 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 4. He is running against Carol Banks, Marcelus Brice, Paris Canty, Mohammed Hassan, Adam Hollier, Ernest Little, Rose Mary Robinson, Beverly Tran, Mervin White and Robert Zwolak in the Democratic primary on August 7.[3][4]
