Joseph Miro
Joseph E. Miro (b. July 15, 1946) is a former Republican member of the Delaware House of Representatives, representing District 22 from 1999 to 2018. Miro did not file to run for re-election in 2018.
Miro served on the New Castle County Council from 1992 to 1998.
Biography
When he served in the state House, Miro was the president of Miro Diversified Services. He was a teacher in the Christina School District from 1970 to 2001.

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was July 8, 2014. John Mackenzie was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Joseph E. Miro ran in the 2012 election for Delaware House of Representatives District 22. Miro defeated Nick T. Manolakos in the Republican primary on September 11, 2012 and defeated David Ellis in the general election on November 6, 2012.[9]

2010
Miro won re-election to the 22nd District seat in 2010. He had no primary opposition. Miro defeated David E. Ellis (R) in the November 2, 2010, general election.[10]

2008
On November 4, 2008, Miro won re-election to the Delaware House of Representatives from Delaware's 22nd District, defeating Rebecca Young (D). Miro received 6,999 votes while Young received 3,585 votes.[11] Miro raised $26,575 for his campaign; Young raised $15,732.[12]
