Joseph Parisi (b. October 24, 1960) was a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 48th District from 2005 to 2011. Prior to his election he served as Dane County Clerk from 1996-2004.

Parisi earned a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He is a former member of Atwood Community Center and Operation Fresh Start.[1]

Parisi was elected Dane County executive in Spring 2011 and thus resigned his seat in the Assembly.[2].

Parisi was re-elected to Wisconsin State Assembly District 48. He defeated Republican Spencer Zimmerman and Independent Grant Gilbertson in the general election on November 2, 2010. He was unopposed in the September 14, 2010, primary election.[3]
