Joseph Wagner (b. April 27, 1956) was a Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives. He represented the 139th District from 2008 until his defeat in 2010. Wagner ran in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 139.

Wagner is a teacher at Catherine McAuley High School. He has previously taught at Massabesic High School, Augusta School District Cony High School, and Elizabeth Seton High School.

Wagner has also worked as Comptroller of the East Coast Migrant Head Start Project, and Audit Liaison Officer for the Office of Human Development Services.[1]

Wagner ran in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 139. Wagner ran unopposed in the June 12 Democratic primary and was defeated by incumbent Aaron Libby (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
