Joshua Evans (b. June 27, 1983) is a Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing District 66. He ws first elected to the chamber in 2008.

Biography

Evans earned his BS in Mass Communication from Middle Tennessee State University in 2005. He worked as an intern in the Tennessee State Senate in 2005. Evans has served as the Alderman of the City of Greenbrier since 2004. He has also served on the Executive Committee of the Robertson County Republican Party since 2005.

Evans ran for re-election to the 66th District Seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the August 5 primary.[4] He defeated Democrat Billy Carneal in the general election on November 2, 2010.[5]

On Nov. 4, 2008, Evans won election to the 66th District Seat in the Tennessee House of Representatives, defeating opponent Robert Bibb (D). [6]
