Joshua Tardy was a Republican member of the Maine House of Representatives. He represented the 25th District from 2002-2010 and served as House Minority Floor Leader. In 2010, Tardy was ineligible to run under Maine's term limits.

Tardy is Co-Owner of the Millennium Weddings and Convention Center, and is a Partner with Irwin, Tardy & Morris. He has been an attorney since 1995, and was a litigation associate with Rudmen and Winchell from 1993-1994.

Tardy is President of the Nokomis Alumni Association, and member of the Maine Central Institute Board of Trustees, Maine State Bar Association, Masons, Elks, Sportsman's Alliance of Maine, and the Penobscot Bar Association.[1]
