Connecticut: A judge in Bridgeport has granted a request to keep the polls open 2 hours later due to a ballot shortage created by heavy voting in the city. Coincidentally, the state of Connecticut's Democratic party had already argued in court to keep the polls open until 10:00 p.m. In addition, the Mayor of Bridgeport made a plea to keep the polls open longer.

These following polling stations will extend their hours until 10:00 p.m. tonight: Park City, Longfellow, Beardsley, Read, Central, Winthrup, Hallen, Hooker, Blackrock, JFK, Blackham and City Hall.[1]
