Julia Parks (b. July 1, 1955) is a Democratic member of the South Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 12.

Education

Parks earned her BS from Johnson C. Smith University in 1976. She then attended Gupton-Jones School of Mortuary Science in 1977.

Professional experience

Parks has worked as a Licensed Real Estate Agent and as Director of Parks Funeral Home.

Political experience

Parks served as a member of the Greenwood City Council from 1988 to 1996. She then served in the South Carolina State House of Representatives in 1997 and again from 1999 to the present. She represents the 12th District.
