Julius Anthony Melendez was a 2012 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 9th Congressional District of Florida. Melendez was defeated by Todd Long in the Republican primary on August 14, 2012.[1]

Biography

Melendez is a native Floridian. He was born on Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, Florida on Dec. 30, 1977.[2]
