Justin Ready (b. April 15, 1982) is a Republican member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 5A. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010.

Ready has served as Chief Deputy Minority Whip since 2013. He served as Executive Director of the Maryland Republican Party from 2008 to 2009.


Ready earned his B.A. in Political Science from Salisbury University in 2004. His professional experience includes working as a legislative aide to Delegate J.B. Jennings and for Chief of Staff Janet Greenip, and owner of Strategic CFM.

Elections for the office of Maryland House of Delegates will consist of a primary election on June 24, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Zachary Hands will face Dorthy G. Scanlan in the Democratic primary, while incumbents Donald B. Elliott, Susan Krebs and Justin Ready will face Carmen Amedori, Haven Shoemaker, Joshua Stonko and Kevin R. Utz in the Republican primary.[2]

Ready ran against William Niner, Nancy Stocksdale (incumbent) and Dave Wallace in the September 14 primary, coming in first. He went on to win election, coming in first in the November 2 general election.[3]
