The KIDS School Bond Proposition appeared on the November 3 ballot in Lincoln County.

KIDS, Keep Improving District Schools, was a proposition on the ballot that sought to pay off the Winfield school district's debts by converting the money owed in lease agreements to this bond. Taxes would not be increased. Approval of the bond also allowed wide spread improvements in the schools within the district. Proposed projects included replacing heating and air conditioners in classrooms, upgrading outdoor equipment, resurfacing school parking lots and developing alternate routes for school buses to use. The school district saw the measure as a great improvement for the future of the districts' schools.[1]
