Kansas abortion measure among eight other similar measures proposed for 2012

TOPEKA, Kansas: A measure in Kansas that could end abortion throughout the state and recognize "the right to life of every human being" is among 8 other similar measures proposed for the 2012 statewide ballot.
House Representative Randy Garber introduced the measure during 2011 state legislative session. The amendment was the only proposal in the legislature that would end the practice of abortion in the state, according to reports. The proposal can still be revisited during 2012 state legislative session.
