Kari Dziedzic is a Democratic member of the Minnesota State Senate, representing District 60 since 2013. She previously represented District 59 from 2012 to 2013. She was first elected in the January 10, 2012 special election. The special election was called to fill the vacancy created when Lawrence Pogemiller (D) resigned to accept an appointment as Director of the Office of Higher Education.

Dziedzic won re-election to her seat in District 60. She was unopposed in the Democratic primary on August 14 and defeated Mark Lazarchic (R) and Rahn V. Workcuff (Independence) in the general election on November 6.
