Macer won election in the 2012 election for Indiana House of Representatives District 92. Macer defeated Tyjuan Garrett and Brian Cooper in the May 8 Democratic primary[4] and defeated Tim Motsinger (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[5][6]
