Kathy Angerer was the acting Michigan Director of Agriculture and Rural Development. Angerer was appointed to replace former Director Gary McDowell.

Angerer was a Democratic member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 55 from January 1, 2005 to January 1, 2011.

Biography

Angerer grew up in Carleton, Michigan, and is a lifelong Monroe County resident.[1] She graduated from St. Mary's Academy in Monroe and attended Monroe County Community College.[2] Her husband is Russ Angerer, who is a decorated Vietnam veteran.[3] Together they have five adult children.[4]
