Gingery earned his BS in Political Science from the University of Wyoming in 1992. He went on to receive his JD from the University of Wyoming Law School in 1995.
Gingery was a Staff Attorney for Southeast Wyoming Legal Services from 1995 to 1996. He then worked as Partner of Western Law Associates, Professional Corporation, from 1996 to 2002. He has worked as Teton County Civil Attorney for the Teton County and Prosecuting Attorney's Office since 2002.[2]
