Keith Potter was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 83 of the Indiana House of Representatives. Potter was defeated by Kathy Heuer in the Republican primary on May 8, 2012.[1]


  • Western Michigan University, Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a Political Science major
  • Ball State University, Master's degree in Secondary Education

After teaching in Michigan for 5 years, Potter moved to Fort Wayne to take a position teaching at Homestead High School.[2] Potter has been teaching for the past 30 years.[2] Currently, he is serving his second four-year term on the Aboite Township Board.[2]

Potter ran in the 2012 election for Indiana House of Representatives District 83. Potter was defeated by incumbent Kathy Heuer in the Republican primary on May 8, 2012.[1] John Good ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[3]
