Biography

Ito's professional experience includes serving as a Hawaii Department of Education Vocational Technical Resource Teacher in the Honolulu District Office from 1987-1994 and a public school teacher at Kalani High School from 1970-1987. Ito served in the United States Air Force from 1962-1966.

Ito won re-election in the 2012 election for Hawaii House of Representatives District 49. Ito ran unopposed in the August 11 Democratic primary and ran unopposed in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]

Ito won re-election to the 48th District Seat in 2010. Ito defeated Jason Pascua in the September 18 primary. The general election took place on November 2, 2010. Mo Radke ran on the Republican ticket for this seat.[3]
