Ken Jacobsen is a Washington state senator, currently serving the 46th district.^[1] He has occupied his senate seat since 1998 and is a member of the Democratic Party.

Education

Jacobsen attended both the University of Washington and Christchurch Teachers' College, New Zealand.

Political experience

Jacobsen served in the Washington State House of Representatives from 1983 to 1996. He joined the Washington State Senate in 1998 and has served in that position since. He represents the 46th district.
