The Kenai Peninsula Ordinance 2009-35 was a ballot measure that was supposed to appear on the October 6, 2009 ballot in Kenai Peninsula, Alaska.[1]

The measure was introduced on June 16, 2009 during the Borough Assembly. If sent to the ballot, the measure would then allow the borough to issue $25.5 million to be used on a multi-use facility in the peninsula that would house multiple sports activities and events. Accumulated debt would be paid by taxes gathered from levied properties in the area as well as revenue created by the facility. Pubic hearings are set for July 7, 2009 and August 4, 2009 to discuss the issue.

Ordinances must be passed by the August 4 deadine in order to appear on the October ballot.[2]
