Kenai Peninsula Ordinance 20092-32 was a ballot measure that was supposed to appear on the October 6, 2009 ballot in the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska.[1]
The ballot proposal was introduced at the Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly on May 19, 2009. The proposal would create a service area that would fund the construction of the multi-use reacreation facility. The facility would be a venue for multiple sports activities and events.
The ordinance must be passed by or on August 4, 2009 in order to appear on the October ballot.[2]
Assembly minutes
Assembly President Martin passed the gavel to Vice President Sprague and noted concerns regarding Ordinance 2009-32 Substitute. Vice President Sprague returned the gavel. Assembly Member Sprague spoke in support of Ordinance 2009-32.
