Fredette is a member of the Air Force (Maine Air National Guard), and has served for 12 years as a Judge Advocate General.
Fredette eared his B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Maine at Machias. He receieved a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management with a concentration in Goverment Finance from USM's Edmund Muskie School for Public Service. He also holds his JD from the University of Maine School of Law, and a Master's degree in Administrationa from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government.
