Proposition 1, Transient Occupancy Tax Increase was on the October 6, 2009 ballot in Ketchikan Gateway Borough.
This proposition sought to raise the transient occupancy tax 3%. It is currently set at a rate of 4% but the proposition would have raised it to 7%.
Unofficial results: This proposition failed with a vote of 53.05% against.[1]
