The Kiel High School Auditorium Maintenance referendum is a school bond issue on the November 4, 2008 ballot in the School District of Kiel, Wisconsin. The purpose of the referendum is to exceed state-set revenue limits by $350,000 per year until 2019 (totaling $3,500,000 overall), with the funds going to the school budget. The additional funds would be used for operational costs of the new high school auditorium.

Actual Wording

Be it resolved by the School Board of the Kiel Area School District, Manitowoc, Calumet and Sheboygan Counties, Wisconsin that the revenues included in the School District budget for ten years beginning in the 2009-2010 school year and ending in the 2018-2019 school year be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $350,000 a year, for non-recurring purposes consisting of operational costs associated with building and site expansion including the High School auditorium addition and other improvement projects
