Kildeer Village Sales Tax Increase (March 2012)

This measure sought to increase the current sales tax to a rate of 1.5 percent with the additional income going towards road improvement projects in the village as well as municipal operation costs. An estimated $500,000 a year would be generated from this tax increase if it is approved.
