Kim S. Benefield is a Democratic member of the Alabama Senate, representing the 13th District since 2006. Prior to the senate, Benefield was elected Circuit Clerk of Randolph County in 1988 and served until 2006. She earned a B.S. in Accounting from Jacksonville State University.
