The Kingsburg hotel tax, Measure A proposition was on the November 4, 2008 ballot in Fresno County, California for voters in the city of Kingsburg.

The measure increases the tax charged to those who stay in local hotels from 8% to 12%.

Measure A was approved with 75.56% of the vote.

The language on the ballot said:

To maintain and improve public safety services such as police and fire protection, street and pothole repair, parks, youth, after-school, anti-gang and anti-drug programs; senior and other city services, shall the City of Kingsburg impose a Transient Occupancy Tax, also known as a hotel bed tax paid only by hotel guest, of 12%, 4% more than the current tax of 8%, and continuing to be subject to publicly available annual audits.
