Jordan earned his BA in Political Science from Ohio State University. His professional experience includes his work as a Legislative Aide for the Ohio State House of Representatives. He has a wife, Melissa.
Jordan served as a Commissioner on the Delaware County Commission from 2002 to 2008. He then joined the Ohio House of Representatives in 2009. He has served in that position since, representing the 2nd District. Jordan is currently running for a senate seat in Ohio District 19.

Jordan was eligible to seek re-election, but did not do so. Instead, he won a senate seat in Ohio District 19 against Democrat Neil Patel.[1] Jordan defeated two challengers in the Republican primary, defeating his closest rival, Thom Collier, by a margin of 25,351-14,695.
