LaVar Christensen is a Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives, representing District 32. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010. He represented District 48 from 2011 to 2013, and has represented District 32 since January 1, 2013.

Biography

Christensen received a B.A. from Brigham Young University and a J.D. from the University of the Pacific. He is a real estate developer and private attorney.

During his time in law school, Christensen was a legislative assistant for the Governor of California (1978), and also a judicial law clerk (1979-1980).
