A La Center School District No. 101 Tax Levy proposition was defeated on the April 23, 2013, election ballot in Clark County, which is in Washington.

This measure would have authorized the La Center School District to impose an additional property tax levy of $200,000 per year for six years in order to fund athletic facility needs as outlined below in the Text of the measure. Language on the ballot:

The La Center School District Board adopted Resolution 2012/2013-4, concerning athletic facility needs for middle and high school students, to include bleachers, field lighting, announcing booth and scoreboards, and other options as described in the Resolution. This proposition would authorize $200,000 per year for six years, and would allow the District to levy the following excess taxes on all taxable property in the District, for the purpose of supporting the District’s Athletic Facilities:[1][2]
