Two Lake Forest & Lake Bluff City Electrical Aggregation Questions were on the March 20, 2012 ballot in the cities of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff which are in Lake County.

Both measures sought to allow city officials to aggregate electricity, allowing them to buy it in bulk for both residents and small businesses in order to obtain lower rates. Since it was approved, city officials will have the ability to seek competitive rates from other electricity suppliers.[2]
