A Lake School District Bond Measure was on the May 3, 2011 ballot in the Lake school district area which is in Stark County.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 2,480 (48.32%)
  • NO 2,652 (51.68%)Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $12.3 million and implement a levy of 2.3 mills to pay for the bond. If approved, the money would have been used to build a new High School in the district. The middle school would have been moved to the current high school and the elementary school would have been moved to the current middle school leaving the current elementary building to be torn down most likely. School officials noted the need for upgraded facilities and noted this would be the cheapest way to achieve the district's goal.[2]
