To pass, it needed a supermajority vote of 55% of those voting in the election.
Measure G authorized a $64.5 million bond.
Prior to Measure G, the Lake Tahoe school board put Measure A on the June 3, 2008 ballot. Measure A asked for $87 million, and it was unsuccessful, with 52% of the vote (needing 55% to pass).
